Invitation to Join Community Police Academy

Community Police Academy

 

Police Chief Keith L. Kilmer, along with the men and women of the San Bernardino Police Department, invite the members of our community to come meet us and attend our upcoming Community Police Academy. This is a unique 13-hour program and is conducted over a six-week period, one night a week.

 

The Academy will be presented at San Bernardino Community Hospital in the Henderson Auditorium. There is no cost to attend this public event and there is ample free parking.

                        Forensics Overview

 

Session 3         February 16, 2010

6:30-8:45 pm     Citizen Volunteer Unit, Explorer Post, & Reserve Police Corps

                        Criminal Investigations

Advancements in Crime Analysis and Crime Mapping Technology

Graffiti Laws and Enforcement

 

Session 4         February 23, 2010

6:30-8:30 pm     Canine Program

                        Traffic Laws and Enforcement

 

Session 5         March 9, 2010

6:30-8:30 pm     Gang Enforcement, SWAT Operations & Training and Narcotic Enforcement

 

Session 6         March 16, 2010

6:30-8:30 pm     Personnel Complaint Guidelines

                        Firearms Shoot Training Simulator (FATS Machine)
